NLRC Participates in First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
Quezon City – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) participated in the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 13, 2025, in line with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 27, series of 2025. As part of a nationwide initiative, the drill aims to enhance earthquake preparedness and disaster resilience among government agencies and the general public.
During the exercise, NLRC officials, employees, and clients present at the Ben-Lor Building, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City followed standard safety protocols, including the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure. The NLRC Security and Safety Officers and Security Guards conducted thorough inspections of rooms and workspaces, ensuring full evacuation and guiding individuals through the safest exit routes to designated assembly areas.
NLRC employees and clients actively participated in the drill, sustaining the agency’s commitment to disaster preparedness and public safety. The successful conduct of the drill highlights the importance of well-organized evacuation and emergency response procedures, ensuring the safety and security of everyone within the Commission’s facilities.
