NLRC RAB XI Certificate of Sale Marks Successful Execution of Levied Property

DAVAO CITY – In a significant development, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Regional Arbitration Branch XI – Davao City recently witnessed the fruitful completion of a Certificate of Sale through execution.  The execution process was initiated based on an Alias Writ of Execution issued on October 17, 2011, involving the levied property of respondent Julio Cosmiano.  This achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of implementing Sheriff Dexter O. Burlaza, along with Sheriff Ryan Lloyd Saigon, and the guidance of Labor Arbiter Franico C. Maskariño, who presided over the labor case bearing docket number RAB XI-06-00481.

 

On July 5, 2023, a public auction was concluded, leading to the successful sale of the real property and its improvements located at Kinabigtasan, Tago, Surigao del Sur. The auction, carefully organized, witnessed the presence of Mr. Angelito Cabatulan, the complainant in the aforementioned case, who emerged as the sole and highest bidder for the property.  This noteworthy sale was documented through a Certificate of Sale, duly signed by the implementing sheriff, further validating the transaction.

 

This accomplishment underscores the NLRC’s crucial role in maintaining fair and just labor practices, with the execution process providing a means of fulfilling judgments and providing redress for aggrieved individuals. The execution of the levied property serves as a testament to the NLRC’s commitment to ensuring the enforcement of labor-related decisions and protecting the rights of all parties involved.
