NLRC-CAR Successfully Executes P4.9M Judgment Award in Favor of an Able-Bodied Seaman

BAGUIO CITY – The relentless efforts put forth in executing proceedings have once again yielded gratifying results as the judgment award of a complainant OFW, totaling P4,906,880.00, has been fully satisfied. 

 

An unfortunate accident led to the total disability of the recipient of the judgment award, an Able-Bodied (AB) Seaman assigned to the Deck/Engine Department of a vessel. 

 

This accomplishment marks a significant victory for the OFW community and highlights NLRC's unwavering dedication to labor justice.

 

Achieving this judgment award was the result of NLRC-CAR Executive Labor Arbiter Raymund M. Celino’s issuance of a writ of execution, complemented by the efficient implementation of the writ by Sheriff Marcial Aning.
