NLRC-CAR Successfully Executes Judgment Award in Favor of an OFW-Seafarer
BAGUIO CITY – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Cordillera Administrative Branch has achieved a milestone by successfully executing the full judgment award of PHP 3,680,160.00, which was released to the OFW complainant representing his total disability benefits. This accomplishment marks a significant victory for the OFW community and highlights NLRC's unwavering dedication to labor justice.
In this case, the recipient of the judgment award, an Able Bodied (AB) Seaman assigned to the Deck/Engine Department of a vessel, met an unfortunate accident that resulted in his total disability.
Achieving this judgment award was the result of Executive Labor Arbiter Raymund M. Celino’s issuance of a writ of execution, complemented by the efficient implementation of the writ by Sheriff Marcial Aning.
