NLRC RAB Ill Facilltates P48 Million Judgment Award Release for 40 Workers of EIectric Power Company
San Fernando, Pampanga – The National Labor Relations Commission Regional Arbitration Branch III (NLRC RAB III) has successfully facilitated the full release of a ?48 million judgment award to forty (40) workers of an electric power company. Through the Office of Executive Labor Arbiter Roderick Q. Almeyda, the resolution ensured that the affected foremen, carpenters, masons, and helpers received their due compensation.
The final settlement amounted to ?12 million, covering the workers’ remaining reinstatement wages and agreed separation pay. This follows the earlier execution of ?36 million, which accounted for their running reinstatement wages from October 9, 2019, to March 28, 2023. In total, the awarded and fully released amount reached ?48 million.
This successful resolution highlights the NLRC's unwavering commitment to upholding labor rights and ensuring just compensation for workers in labor disputes.
