Bacolod City – The National Labor Relations Commission Regional Arbitration Branch VI (NLRC RAB VI) in Bacolod City successfully facilitated a ?1,800,000.00 settlement for a 3rd Engineer Seafarer, resolving an employment dispute through compulsory arbitration.

With the assistance of Labor Arbiter Christine V. Bulanon-Gubalane, the seafarer and the involved local agency reached an amicable settlement during the mandatory conference.

The case involved claims of illegal dismissal, breach of contract, unpaid salary, sickness allowance, and other monetary benefits against the local agency and its principal company.

This successful resolution highlights NLRC RAB VI's unwavering commitment to upholding labor justice, ensuring fair and efficient dispute resolution for both local and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
