NLRC NCR SENA Desk Facilitates P528K Settlement for Contract Manager in the Solomon Islands
Quezon City – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) National Capital Region (NCR) Single Entry Approach (SENA) Desk successfully facilitated a settlement amounting to P528,409.86 for a contract manager employed in Solomon Islands, a country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. Assisted by SENA Conciliator-Mediator Josephine A. Gallenero, the settlement resolved an employment dispute and demonstrated the effectiveness of the SENA program in addressing both local and overseas Filipino worker (OFW) labor issues.
The contract manager, who sought resolution for monetary claims against the local recruitment agency, reached an amicable agreement with the agency during the first mediation session.
