QUEZON CITY—The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) demonstrated exemplary performance and teamwork as they brought home major awards during the 2025 Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Sportsfest.

Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan, Presiding Commissioners, and Commissioners joined the NLRC players during the awarding ceremony that took place during DOLE’s 92 nd Founding Anniversary Celebration with the theme “Tatak DOLE sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Tapat at Nararapat para sa Lahat”.

The NLRC team bagged the following awards:

•Champion, Badminton Men's Singles - Carlos G. Manuel

•Champion, iDOLE Duet - Ferdinand R. Mendoza & Norminie A. Barretto

•First Runner-up, Badminton Women's Singles - Atty. Irish A. Pineda

•First Runner-up, Table Tennis Men's Singles - Ellun N. Dellima

•First Runner-up, Table Tennis Mixed Doubles - Mario O. Castillo III & Jenny Rose P. Limocon

•Second Runner-up, Table Tennis Women's Singles - Maria Liza S. Batiquin

•Second Runner-up, Scrabble Men's Singles - Lex G. Panganiban

The awarding ceremony was held on December 8, 2025 at the Ichikawa Hall, Occupational Safety and Health Center Complex.

Chairperson Maniquiz-Tan expressed continued support to the sportsfest participants, reflecting the agency’s commitment to promoting the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
