TACLOBAN CITY – The Regional Arbitration Branch VIII (RAB VIII) of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) has successfully disbursed a total monetary award of P13,998,158.07 to benefit 71 workers in Tacloban City.  This significant achievement, based on the reports of fully satisfied writs of execution, highlights the NLRC’s commitment to ensuring the rightful compensation of employees in the region.

From January to June 2023, the NLRC RAB VIII diligently pursued the resolution of labor disputes, resulting in the release of the substantial monetary award to workers.  This accomplishment serves as an attestation to the NLRC’s dedication to upholding fair labor practices and protecting the rights and welfare of employees.

Through the concerted efforts of the NLRC RAB VIII, led by its committed officials and staff, these workers have received their rightful compensation, totaling an impressive P13.99 million. The disbursed monetary award represents the successful execution of fully satisfied writs of execution, providing tangible relief to 71 workers who have been duly recognized for their labor-related grievances.  

Under the guidance of its officials, the NLRC RAB VIII remains steadfast in its mission to provide timely and effective resolutions to labor disputes, ultimately fostering a harmonious working environment for employees in Tacloban City.
