NLRC Streamlines Fee Collection System for Improved Public Service

QUEZON CITY – In a move geared towards enhancing efficiency and responsibility in providing public service, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) through its Chairperson, Grace E. Maniquz-Tan, has issued Administrative Order No. 11-04, Series of 2023, which introduces modifications to the system of fee and charges collection, along with revised procedures for reporting and accounting of payments through the NLRC Cashier.

Among the key changes outlined in the administrative order are:

(a) Streamlined NLRC Cashier Payments. – The NLRC has implemented a streamlined process for payment through NLRC Cashiers, specifically for nominal fees and charges related to frontline services. This includes fees for services such as the issuance of NLRC Clearance/Certificate of Pending/No Pending Case, requests for Certified True Copy/Xerox Copy of Case Documents, and other filing fees and charges of relatively small amounts.

(b) Over-the-Counter Collection Facility. – Payment or posting of cash bonds, appeal bonds, appeal fees (including deposit fees), proceeds from garnishments, and voluntary compliance to judgment awards will now be facilitated through the Over-the-Counter Collection Facility in collaboration with the Land Bank of the Philippines.

These changes mark a significant step by the NLRC to modernize and optimize its financial processes, aiming to provide more accessible and efficient services to the public.

The Commission believes that these modifications will not only streamline administrative processes but will also contribute to an improved overall experience for those utilizing NLRC services.

Encouraging stakeholders to acquaint themselves with the revised procedures detailed in Administrative Order No. 11-04, Series of 2023, is essential for ensuring a seamless and compliant interaction with the Commission's services.
