NLRC Implements Comprehensive Docket Inventory
QUEZON CITY – In a proactive step towards enhancing organizational transparency and accountability, Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan has issued Administrative Order No. 11-01, Series of 2023, directing all Presiding/Commissioners, Executive/Labor Arbiters, and Executive Clerks of Court to conduct a thorough physical inventory of their dockets. This comprehensive effort aims to account for all case records within the Commission.
The designated inventory period is set from November 28 to December 12, with subsequent inventories to be conducted annually. For the year 2023, the inventory will encompass all cases in the custody of respective offices as of December 11, 2023. It is noteworthy that case raffling will continue during this period.
During the inventory period, the Executive/Labor Arbiter or Presiding/Commissioner retains the option to conduct hearings as needed. Duly accomplished inventory forms are to be submitted by the Presiding/Commissioners, Executive/Labor Arbiters, and Executive Clerks of Court to the undersigned not later than December 12, 2023. These forms will include a certification section to be completed by the Labor Arbitration Associate and the Executive/Labor Arbiter in the Regional Arbitration Branches, Labor Arbitration Associate, and Presiding/Commissioner in the Commission, and Board Secretary and Executive Clerk of Court in the Divisions. The certification confirms personal involvement in the inventory process, examination of each case record, and accurate reflection of results in the inventory form.
Non-compliance with this order will be addressed accordingly, underlining the significance of adherence to ensure the integrity of the Commission's record-keeping and case management processes. This initiative reinforces the NLRC's commitment to maintaining a high standard of organizational efficiency and accountability.
