The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) recently conducted a dialogue with the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) at the NLRC Conference Room, Ben-Lor Building, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.
Held on May 22, 2024, the meeting, in recognition of tripartism, aimed to address the concerns of the employer sector and enhance collaboration between the NLRC and essential industry stakeholders. Several critical issues raised by the employer sector were highlighted, including the execution of judgments, the process of filing complaints, operational capabilities, and the impact of decisions on the business community.
Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan emphasized the importance of continuous communication and cooperation among the tripartite partners to foster a more inclusive and responsive labor relations system.
This meeting is part of the NLRC's broader efforts to build stronger partnerships with employers and industry groups, aiming to create a balanced and fair environment for both workers and employers in the Philippines.
