NLRC Recognizes 10 Retired Officials and Personnel for Dedicated Government Service

Quezon City — The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) honored ten officials and employees who retired from government service between January and March 2025, in a heartfelt recognition ceremony held during the flag-raising activity on April 7, 2025.

NLRC Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan led the awarding ceremony, expressing gratitude for the retirees’ unwavering dedication and years of public service that significantly contributed to the Commission’s mission of delivering fair, accessible, and timely labor justice across the nation.

The retirees recognized for their invaluable service are:

1. Eva T. Libao, Administrative Assistant V, NLRC National Capital Regional Arbitration Branch (NCRAB) – 43 years in service

2. Josie M. Miraflor, Administrative Assistant II, RAB V – 41 years

3. Jesusandy L. Blanquisco, Labor Arbitration Associate, RAB V – 38 years

4. Loredo S. Pimentel, Administrative Officer V, Main Office - Records and Docket Unit – 36 years

5. Labor Arbiter Franico C. Maskariño, RAB XI – 31 years

6. Labor Arbiter Emma Liza P. Calma, NCRAB – 28 years

7. Jose F. Ordoñez, Administrative Aide I, RAB III – 26 years

8. Agnes A. Bandagoza, Administrative Assistant V, RAB V – 25 years

9. Atty. Grace M. Venus, Presiding Commissioner, Fourth Division – 25 years

10. Ricardo G. Alcantara, Administrative Aide II, Main Office - Data Center – 10 years

In her address, Chairperson Maniquiz-Tan commended the honorees for their steadfast commitment and invaluable contributions, noting that their work has laid a strong foundation for continued public trust in the NLRC’s services.

Speaking on behalf of the retirees, former Presiding Commissioner Atty. Grace M. Venus shared words of gratitude and inspiration. “We thank the NLRC for the opportunity to serve. Let us continue to deliver what is expected of us—and beyond,” she said, encouraging current employees to continue the legacy of integrity and excellence in public service.
