NLRC Earns 5-Star Rating in DOE Energy Efficiency Assessment

Quezon City — The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) has earned a 5-star rating following a spot check conducted by the Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Audit Team on March 16, 2026, in recognition of the Commission’s strong implementation of energy efficiency and conservation measures.

The assessment formed part of the DOE’s ongoing efforts to evaluate government agencies’ compliance with national policies on energy efficiency and sustainable resource management. The audit focused on the NLRC’s adoption of energy-saving practices, optimization of energy use, and institutional commitment to conservation initiatives within its operations.

The results of the evaluation were formally announced by DOE Energy Auditor Marc M. Martinez at the conclusion of the activity, which was attended by members of the NLRC management team led by Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan.
