NLRC Receives Outstanding Rating in 2025 DBM Performance Review
Quezon City – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) has earned a perfect score of 5.00, equivalent to an “Outstanding Performance” rating, in the 2025 Annual Agency Performance Review (AAPR) conducted by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
The AAPR evaluates government agencies based on key performance indicators, including financial and physical accomplishments, as well as the timeliness and quality of report submissions. The NLRC’s perfect rating reflects its consistent compliance with performance standards and its commitment to efficient public service delivery.
According to the DBM assessment, the NLRC demonstrated exemplary performance across all measured criteria, highlighting the agency’s effective utilization of resources, timely implementation of programs, and adherence to reporting requirements.
Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan emphasized that the recognition affirms the Commission’s dedication to institutional excellence and accountability. She further noted that the achievement reinforces the Commission’s resolve to continuously improve its systems and processes in order to better serve workers, employers, and stakeholders.
The NLRC, as a quasi-judicial agency mandated to resolve labor and employment disputes, plays a critical role in maintaining industrial peace. Its strong performance in the AAPR underscores its capability to deliver services effectively while maintaining high standards of governance.
Moving forward, the Commission aims to sustain its performance and pursue further innovations to enhance service delivery, particularly in case management, dispute resolution, and administrative efficiency.
