NLRC Resolves P36M in Labor Disputes for 31 Complainants - Meter Readers

BUTUAN CITY. – The National Labor Relations Commission's Regional Arbitration Branch XIII (NLRC-RAB XIII) in Butuan City successfully facilitated the resolution of labor disputes totaling P36,755,886.20 filed by 31 complainants-meter readers against an electric cooperative based in Surigao City.  Overseeing the settlement process was Executive Labor Arbiter (ELA) Arnold G. Larena.

 

Revolving mainly around monetary claims such as salary differentials, the disputes originated from matters associated with regularization.  ELA Arnold G. Larena played a crucial role in mediating the negotiations, ensuring a fair and just resolution for all parties involved.

 

NLRC-RAB XIII - Butuan City, committed to upholding the rights of workers and fostering harmonious industrial relations, made good use of its expertise to navigate the complexities of the disputes.  As to the financial claims of the complainants, the resolution also contributed to a cooperative and equitable work environment.
