NLRC CAR Secures Settlement for Factory Workers in Textile Manufacturing Dispute

BAGUIO CITY. – National Labor Relations Commission - Cordillera Administrative Region (NLRC-CAR) recently achieved a significant breakthrough in resolving the claims of 11 factory workers against a textile manufacturing company. The successful settlement, facilitated by Labor Arbitration Association Ramir P. Badua under the supervision of Executive Labor Arbiter Raymund M. Celino, amounts to a total of P4,112,913.11.

 

Comprising production operators, packers, and maintenance personnel, the complainants sought redress for various issues including salary discrepancies, premium pay, as well as separation and retirement benefits.  Through diligent mediation and negotiation efforts, NLRC-CAR was able to reach a mutually acceptable agreement that addresses the concerns of both parties involved.
