NLRC Conducts Orientation Webinar on New Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) Information System
Quezon City. – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) conducted an orientation webinar on the new Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) Information System. Held on August 7, 2024, via the Zoom application, the seminar was organized in preparation for the pilot testing of the new system, with participation from NLRC Single-Entry Approach Desk Officers (SEADOs) and SEnA Conciliators-Mediators from the Main Office and the NCR Arbitration Branch.
Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan emphasized that the SEnA Information System aims to improve the handling of Requests for Assistance (RFAs) filed under the Single-Entry Approach, a reform measure introduced to provide a simpler, faster, and more accessible means of resolving labor disputes, including the online filing of requests for assistance. By centralizing and digitizing the process, the system is expected to provide an accessible means for stakeholders and reduce the administrative burden on SEADOs and Conciliators-Mediators.
The webinar provided a comprehensive overview of the SEnA Information System, covering its features, functionalities, and the processes involved in its operation. Participants were given a detailed walkthrough of the system, including how to navigate the interface, input data, and generate reports.
Implementing the SEnA Information System represents a major step towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of dispute resolution processes. This system will enable to manage cases more efficiently, ensure transparency, and provide better service to the public.
The NLRC remains dedicated to adopting innovative solutions that enhance its capabilities and uphold its mandate of protecting the rights and welfare of workers.
