NLRC Conducts En Banc Session in General Santos City
The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) held its regular En Banc session on August 15 to 16, 2024, in General Santos City, to discuss critical issues affecting its operations. This session is part of the NLRC’s ongoing efforts to engage with regional stakeholders and address the challenges faced by both employees and employers nationwide.
During the two-day session, the Commission deliberated on various significant matters, including updates on ongoing cases, policy reviews, and the implementation of new initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of labor dispute resolutions. Under the Labor Code of the Philippines, as amended, the Commission may sit en banc for the purpose of promulgating rules and regulations governing the disposition of cases and formulating policies affecting its administration and operations.
