NLRC RAB V Successfully Settles Multiple Labor Disputes Through Mandatory Conciliation-Mediation Conference

Legazpi City – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Regional Arbitration Branch No. V (RAB V) in Legazpi City has successfully facilitated the settlement of multiple labor disputes through a series of mandatory conciliation-mediation conferences, ensuring that affected workers receive their rightful claims.

Among the cases resolved were:

• Two cashiers from a gasoline station, who received settlements for unpaid salaries and overtime amounting to ?10,991.64 and ?9,761.53, respectively.
• A forklift operator from a grocery store/warehouse, who secured ?7,126.35 for unpaid wages.
• A customer care staff from a manpower company, who received ?14,300.00 for unpaid salary and 13th-month pay.
• A shelving worker from a support services company, who was awarded ?40,000.00 for unpaid wages.
• A saleslady from a bakeshop, who obtained ?27,725.00 for unpaid salary and other benefits.

The settlements were facilitated by Labor Arbiter Gener T. Caño, with the assistance of his Labor Arbitration Associate and Stenographer Reporter III. Their collective efforts highlight the NLRC's commitment to ensuring fair and speedy resolutions to labor disputes, reinforcing the agency’s dedication to protecting workers' rights.
