NLRC RAB XIII Secures P300K Settlement for Production Workers
Butuan City – The National Labor Relations Commission Regional Arbitration Branch XIII (NLRC RAB XIII) in Butuan City successfully facilitated a ?300,102.50 settlement for 14 production workers of an export company through a series of mandatory conciliation-mediation conferences.
With the assistance of Labor Arbiter Rotela Fatima A. Ortiz, the settlement resolved the workers’ claims for separation pay against their employer.
Mandatory conciliation-mediation at the Labor Arbiter level remains a vital mechanism for amicably resolving labor disputes and fostering industrial peace.
