Davao City – In another demonstration of its commitment to uphold workers’ rights and enforce lawful claims, the National Labor Relations Commission – Regional Arbitration Branch XI (NLRC RAB XI) successfully facilitated the release of a judgment award totaling ₱1,172,039.08 in favor of 50 complainant-workers employed by a manpower agency.

The amount represents the workers' money claims, including unpaid wages and other benefits, as awarded through a final judgment rendered in their favor. Carried out through execution of judgment proceedings, the release of the award ensured that the workers received the compensation due to them under the law.

The process was facilitated by the Office of Labor Arbiter Rommel L. Galicia, with the able assistance of Acting Sheriff Martha Glenn A. Manreal, whose coordinated efforts led to the successful enforcement of the decision and prompt release of the monetary award to the beneficiaries.

This case highlights the vital role of the NLRC in not only resolving labor disputes but also in ensuring the full enforcement of its decisions, particularly for vulnerable sectors such as contractual and agency-hired workers.

The NLRC reaffirms its mandate to deliver timely, just, and efficient dispute resolution mechanisms and enforcement processes, in line with its mission to promote social justice, uphold workers’ rights, and maintain industrial peace.
