NLRC Recognizes Newly Retired Officials and Personnel for Dedicated Government Service

Quezon City — The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) paid tribute to ten newly retired officials and personnel during the flag-raising ceremony held at the NLRC Main Office on July 7, 2025. The honorees retired from government service between April and June 2025, capping off decades of exemplary commitment to public service and the cause of labor justice.

Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan led the awarding of plaques of recognition and tokens of appreciation, conveying the Commission’s deep gratitude for the retirees’ unwavering dedication, integrity, and many years of faithful service. She emphasized that their enduring legacy in the labor justice system will continue to inspire those who remain in public service.

Leading the roster of honorees was Presiding Commissioner Victor C. Avecilla of the Third Division, who was previously honored in a retirement ceremony held during the 2025 En Banc Session on July 3 in Tagaytay City. He rendered 32 years of distinguished government service marked by legal excellence and principled leadership.

Also recognized were Labor Arbiters Romelita Rioflorido of the National Capital Region Arbitration Branch (NCRAB) and Jessie Sullano of Regional Arbitration Branch VI (RAB VI), who served for 29 and 19 years, respectively.

Certificates of recognition were awarded to the following retirees:

1. Amalia Celino, Chief Administrative Officer, Main Office – 37 years in service

2. Pobleo Allera, Labor Arbitration Associate, RAB XII – 37 years in service

3. Marina Mondido, Administrative Assistant V, NCRAB – 38 years in service

4. Nenita Agcamaran, Administrative Assistant V, NCRAB – 40 years in service

5. Leah Baladad, Administrative Assistant V, Cordillera Administrative Regional Arbitration Branch – 43 years in service

6. Numeriano de Guzman, Sheriff III, Sub-regional Arbitration Branch No. IV – 43 years in service

7. Jalali-Ronnie Jalalain, Jr., Sheriff III, NCRAB – 26 years in service

Commissioner Cecilio Alejandro C. Villanueva of the Third Division extended his congratulations to the retirees, recognizing their invaluable contributions to advancing the Commission’s mission of fair, efficient, and accessible labor justice. He remarked that their years of dedicated service embodied the core values of the NLRC and expressed gratitude for their role as pillars of the institution.
