NLRC-NCR Facilitates P70 Million Settlement for Managerial Employee
Quezon City – In a significant demonstration of effective labor dispute resolution, the National Labor Relations Commission – National Capital Region (NLRC-NCR) Arbitration Branch successfully facilitated the settlement of a ₱70 million judgment award involving a managerial employee and his former employer, a construction company.
The settlement was concluded during a conference held on July 7, 2025, under the supervision of Labor Arbiter Cherish S. Calo-Payawal. During the proceedings, the complainant, with the assistance of his legal counsel, voluntarily executed a Release, Waiver, and Quitclaim upon receiving the full amount awarded.
In an interview following the conference, the complainant expressed his appreciation and sense of relief over the resolution of his case. “I am so relieved that this case has been settled and I do not have to worry anymore,” he stated.
