Butuan City – In a continued demonstration of its commitment to delivering timely and effective labor justice, the National Labor Relations Commission – Regional Arbitration Branch XIII (NLRC RAB XIII) successfully facilitated the release of a total judgment award amounting to ₱3,730,864.43 to 57 complainant-miners.

The monetary award represents separation pay and other lawful benefits filed by the miners against a mining company operating in Surigao del Norte. Handled and resolved by the Office of Executive Labor Arbiter Arnold G. Larena, the case led to the successful facilitation of the award’s release.

This development reflects the NLRC's unwavering dedication to upholding workers' rights and ensuring the enforcement of lawful monetary claims.
