Butuan City – The National Labor Relations Commission – Regional Arbitration Branch XIII (NLRC RAB 13) has successfully facilitated the settlement of ₱1,014,996.84 in favor of 23 complainant-workers of a wholesale and retail trade company.

The settlement, representing separation pay, covered employees in various positions, including drivers, warehousemen, operators, watchmen, helpers, segregators, checkers, dealers, salespersons, and MS encoders.

The amicable resolution was facilitated by Ms. Sylvia R. Maquinano, Administrative Officer V, under the supervision of Executive Labor Arbiter Arnold G. Larena.

By securing this settlement through conciliation, NLRC RAB 13 ensured that workers received their rightful monetary claims without the delays and costs associated with full-blown litigation.

The Commission continues to encourage both workers and employers to utilize its conciliation and mediation mechanisms as a timely and effective means of resolving disputes.
