NLRC RAB XIII Secures Over ₱1.5 Million Settlement for Bus Driver

Butuan City – The National Labor Relations Commission – Regional Arbitration Branch XIII (NLRC RAB XIII) successfully facilitated the settlement of ₱1,540,006.30 in favor of a bus driver employed by a bus company.

The amount represents the complainant’s retirement pay, ensuring that the worker rightfully received his monetary benefits.

The amicable settlement was achieved through conciliation proceedings led by Labor Arbitration Associate Robert M. Aying, under the supervision of Executive Labor Arbiter Arnold G. Larena.

By resolving the dispute through conciliation, NLRC RAB XIII once again demonstrated the efficiency of its dispute resolution mechanisms, sparing both parties from the delays and expenses of full-blown litigation.

The Commission reaffirmed its call for workers and employers to make use of its conciliation and mediation services, which continue to serve as timely and effective avenues for addressing labor disputes.
