NLRC Releases Over ₱756 Million in Judgment Awards for the Third Quarter of 2025

Quezon City — The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), through its Financial and Management Division (FMD), reported that a total of ₱756,909,734.81 was released as judgment awards to 2,907 workers complainants during the third quarter of 2025, covering the months of July to September.

According to the FMD, the amount came from respondent-companies who were found liable or ordered by the Commission to pay the monetary claims of workers. These included cases involving illegal dismissal, underpayment of wages, non-payment of benefits, and other violations of labor standards laws.

The FMD emphasized that all judgment award releases were carried out in strict compliance with existing financial rules and procedures to ensure transparency, timely payment, and accountability in the disbursement of funds to affected workers.

NLRC Chairperson Grace E. Maniquiz-Tan emphasized the Commission’s unwavering commitment to protecting workers’ rights and ensuring the prompt enforcement of labor judgments. She stated that the release of more than ₱756 million in judgment awards for the third quarter of 2025 demonstrates the NLRC’s dedication to providing swift and meaningful justice to workers. She further remarked that behind these figures are thousands of workers whose rights have been safeguarded and whose livelihoods have been restored.

This accomplishment aligns with the Commission’s mandate to administer labor laws fairly and expeditiously, reaffirming its continuing commitment to earning public trust through efficient, transparent, and responsive service delivery.

The Commission also advised stakeholders to remain vigilant, seek assistance only from authorized NLRC offices regarding the proper process of enforcing monetary awards, and avoid fixers and ambulance chasers.
