NLRC RAB V SEnA Desk Facilitates Settlement of Claims of Various Workers
LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY - The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Regional Arbitration Branch V (RAB V), through its Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) Desk, has successfully facilitated the settlement of claims for workers from various industries through a series of mediation sessions held in the first week of October 2025.
Seven workers in the food service industry received their claims for 13th month pay and separation pay amounting to Php79,000 with the assistance of SEnA Desk Officer (SEADO) Faye T. Bongalos. These workers, who are cooks, waiters, dishwasher, and caretakers,
reached an amicable agreement with a local restaurant.
Additionally, a beauty advisor in a local cosmetics company received the settlement of her claims for 13th month pay, last salary, and financial assistance worth Php20,000. The employee was assisted by SEADO Maybelle A. Hallare.
These settlements highlight the effectiveness of the SENA program as a valuable mechanism for both workers and employers seeking fair outcomes. With this program, the NLRC displays its steadfast mission to provide speedy and amicable resolution of labor conflicts.
