NLRC RAB IX Facilitates Release of Over ₱6.3 Million in Executed Judgment Awards to Workers in Retail, Finance, Manufacturing, Media, and Security Sectors

Zamboanga City – The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Regional Arbitration Branch (RAB) No. IX successfully facilitated the release of more than ₱6.3 million in executed judgment awards to workers from various industries, reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to ensuring the full and timely enforcement of monetary claims.

The released awards covered several concluded labor cases, including:

• Two salesladies from a retail store who received a total of ₱199,212.00;

• One collector from a finance service company awarded ₱244,927.73;

• Nine milling/plant operators of a rubber retail company who collectively received ₱2,881,772.77;

• One transmitter technician from a media and broadcasting company awarded ₱2,826,910.04; and

• One security guard from a security agency who received ₱150,987.59.

These amounts represent backwages, separation pay, 13th month pay, and other benefits.

The execution and release of the judgment awards were facilitated by Sheriff Christian Eric H. Agudera, together with Acting/Cashiers Gay Fleur E. Cabatit-Ramos and Kurt Justine Benzonan. Their coordinated efforts ensured that the workers promptly received the judgment award.

NLRC RAB IX emphasized that timely enforcement of labor judgments is vital in upholding workers’ rights and strengthening public trust in the Commission’s processes. The Branch remains committed to delivering accessible, responsive, and effective labor justice services to workers and employers in the region.
