NLRC RAB II Facilitates Settlement of Over P13.9 Million in Labor Claims Benefiting 107 Workers Across Various Industries

Tuguegarao City — The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) Regional Arbitration Branch (RAB) II successfully facilitated the settlement of multiple labor cases involving a total of 107 workers from various industries, resulting in the release of ₱13,931,038.03 in monetary awards.

The settlements covered different labor disputes filed by workers from diverse sectors, reflecting the broad scope of labor justice concerns addressed by the Branch. Through effective conciliation and mediation, the cases were amicably resolved, ensuring the prompt delivery of monetary benefits to the affected workers.

The successful facilitation of the settlements was led by Executive Labor Arbiter Clarissa G. Beltran-Lerios and Labor Arbiter Melanie F. Aleson-Laranio, with the assistance of Labor Arbitration Associate Nympha S. Aguda and Labor Arbitration Associate Jovelyn B. Fabian. Their coordinated efforts contributed to the efficient resolution of the cases and the timely satisfaction of workers’ claims.

NLRC RAB II emphasized that the resolution of these cases forms part of the Commission’s continuing commitment to promote voluntary settlement of labor disputes as a faster and more cost-effective means of delivering justice to workers and employers alike.
