QUEZON CITY – The National Labor Relations Commission – National Capital Region (NLRC-NCR) has effectively overseen the execution of a judgment award in favor of 16 complainants who were carpenters working for a construction company.   

Tasked with overseeing the execution, the sheriff ensured that the awarded amount totaling P8.37M was disbursed to the 16 complainants-carpenters. 

This serves as a reminder of the importance of safeguarding the rights of workers in various sectors, especially those who contribute to the construction industry.

As the NLRC continues to advocate for the protection of workers’ rights, cases like this one serve as benchmarks for upholding the principles of fairness, equity and respect within the realm of labor relations. END
