NLRC RAB XIII Facilitates Settlement of Claims for Security Guards

BUTUAN CITY. – The National Labor Relations Commission - Regional Arbitration Branch XIII has successfully mediated the resolution of claims for seven complainants, all of whom are security guards.  Lodged against their security agency, the claims amounted to a total of P616,096.57.

 

Comprising a range of issues such as salary differentials, COLA (Cost of Living Allowance), rest day pay, holiday pay, 13th-month pay, service incentive leave pay, and overtime pay, these settlements represent a significant step towards addressing labor grievances.

 

The management of the settlement process was spearheaded by Executive Labor Arbiter (ELA) Arnold G. Larena, ensuring that both parties arrived at a mutually advantageous agreement.  

 

This outcome underscores a victory for the complainants, affirming the recognition and fulfillment of their rights and entitlements.

 

Looking ahead, NLRC Regional Arbitration Branch XIII reaffirms its dedication to preserving fairness and justice in labor relations within its purview.
