NLRC Holds PAG-IBIG Briefing Seminar on MP2 Savings Program and Member Benefits
Quezon City — In line with its commitment to employee welfare and financial literacy, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), in partnership with the Home Development Mutual Fund (PAG-IBIG Fund), conducted a briefing seminar on the Modified PAG-IBIG II (MP2) Savings Program and other member benefits on April 28, 2025, at the NLRC Benlor Building, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.
The activity aimed to provide NLRC officials, employees, and staff with relevant and practical knowledge about the MP2 Savings Program—a government-backed savings scheme offering higher dividend rates for PAG-IBIG members looking to grow their savings over a five-year term. It also served as a venue to discuss various other benefits and services offered by the PAG-IBIG Fund, including housing loan programs, regular savings, and short-term loans.
PAG-IBIG resource speakers presented the features, eligibility requirements, and advantages of enrolling in the MP2 Savings Program, encouraging government workers and other attendees to make informed decisions on long-term savings and financial planning.
Participants welcomed the initiative, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the program and how it can contribute to their financial security.
This collaborative seminar underscores the NLRC’s ongoing efforts to support the holistic well-being of its workforce, not just through labor adjudication services but also through partnerships that promote financial empowerment and public sector benefits.
