NLRC Holds First-Ever Christmas Family Day Celebration
Quezon City — Emphasizing the value of family and strengthening the spirit of love, peace, and hope during the Christmas season, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), through the National Association of Labor Arbiters, Inc. (NALAI) and the NLRC Employees Association (NLRCEA), successfully held its first-ever Christmas Family Day celebration on December 19, 2025, at the NLRC Main Office.
The event brought together approximately 50 children and grandchildren of NLRC officials and employees, aged 2 to 12 years old, who enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter, and festive activities designed especially for them.
Various games and interactive activities were organized to entertain the young participants, fostering camaraderie and joy among NLRC families. Candies, chocolates, and snacks were also distributed, adding to the excitement of the celebration.
NALAI President Sherwin J. Casurao and NLRCEA President King Moriel S. Vergel, together with other NALAI and NLRCEA officers, expressed gratitude to NLRC officials and employees for their unwavering support and active participation, which contributed to the success of the inaugural Family Day celebration.
The Christmas Family Day highlights the NLRC’s commitment to promoting a balanced, people-centered, and family-friendly work environment, recognizing that the well-being of employees and their families plays a vital role in sustaining the Commission’s efficiency, morale, and excellence in public service.
Through initiatives such as this, the NLRC continues to foster unity, compassion, and shared values among its workforce, in keeping with the true spirit of Christmas.
